Roger wishes to thank all the sponsors & supporters that enabled him to embark on the initial challenge to row across the Indian Ocean & who stood by him during his successful row across the Atlantic Ocean while raising money for Asthma UK .

Many people wouldn’t even consider rowing across an Ocean, let alone after being forced to retire from the Indian Ocean Race in April 2009 due to injury. But then maybe not everyone has the resolve & determination that Roger had in his bid to realise the dream of a lifetime.
Fully recovered & raring to go Roger left La Gomera in the Canary Islands on the 4th January 2010 to complete the 4,050 mile crossing.
